Second generation takes AFCO reins
News Release
SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 - AFCO Chairman Sam Friedman announced the appointment of his son, Geoff, as president of the Atlanta commercial real estate firm today, ushering in the second generation of leadership for the corporation.

Sam Friedman founded AFCO in 1971 to provide a full range of real estate brokerage, management, and development services to owners and users of commercial property.
"That mission continues to be our basic business strategy 35 years later," said Friedman. "Geoff's challenge is to provide the leadership to grow our firm to the next level."
After a stint practicing law, Geoff recently returned to work with his father, who remains CEO. The younger Friedman plans to follow in his father's footsteps.
"We will continue to take care of people, to serve our clients' best interests," says Geoff.
